objects of longing

Here are some images of our piece called empty bowls in the 'Objects of Longing' exhibition at Harbourfront Centre (on display until March 11). It is a collection of pinched porcelain dishes in various sizes, with clear glaze and traces of white around the inner diameter (more clearly visible in the detail shot).

I (carly) have finally got my personal portfolio site up and running again. My domain expired without warning and was snatched up by someone, so I had to get a new one. Apologies to anyone who's tried to view it since the fall and not found what they were looking for. All the paintings are at least a year and a half old - coe&waito has been very very busy, but I hope to start some new work soon. Here is the most recent painting on the site:

We will be showing new work as part of a group exhibition at Harbourfront Centre in Toronto. The show is called 'Object(s) of Longing' and was curated by Melanie Egan. It is opening this Friday, January 19th from 6-9pm, along with several other exhibitions in the building - many of them craft-based. We'll be there at the opening, so if you are able, please do stop by for a visit.
